Electrical stimulation, or e-stim, is a modern adjunctive therapy that works beautifully with massage and acupuncture. It’s safe, non-invasive, and surprisingly comfortable—many clients don’t even feel much more than a gentle tingling.

E-stim uses small electrical currents delivered through the needles deep into the tissue. These currents help muscles contract, release tension, and increase circulation. It can also calm overactive nerves and support your body’s natural healing process. For people with tight muscles, chronic pain, or arthritis, it can provide targeted support in areas that need extra attention.

Benefits of e-stim include:

  • Relieving muscle spasms and tightness

  • Reducing pain and inflammation

  • Improving circulation and tissue health

  • Supporting recovery from injury or overuse

  • Enhancing the effects of massage or acupuncture

In my practice, I have used e-stim to treat separated shoulder, bone spurs, muscle pain, sciatica and arthritis. It’s gentle, effective, and can be customized to exactly what your body needs. Think of it as a little extra help for your muscles and nerves—a tool that works with your body rather than against it, so you can move more freely and feel better faster.
